Review: Organic Face Rosewater Toner from Boots Botanics

While most of my Chinese course mates just set foot in their dorms after a fulfilling 2D1N Hatyai trip, a bankrupt law student like me can only nail in front of lappie doing review on Organic Face Rosewater Toner, a victor I claimed from Boots Lee Garden, Hatyai : ( Pathetic, aren't me? No, of cause, I am writing the review for the sake for public good, you know, those who succumb to words of mouth in the cyber forum : )

Enough of the crap, this is another toner I would call a gem.
Original Price: 280 bahts for 150ml
After 70% off: 84 bahts (which is a mere RM8.40!!!)
Indeed it is a water. Faintly rose scented (How I adore it!Oslee aftermath I guess), I apply it every morning after cleansing my face. Since I massage it on my face using bare hands but not a cotton pad(coz I missed the damn English instruction covered by the Thai instruction), sticky dirt leftover can still miraculously be cleansed(and gummed on my palms.. yuckie).

And it is made in UK(i.e. equivalent to QUALITY :>)
Its impact on a lady with combination skin(yeah.. upgraded from sensitive to sensitive+pimples skin) was powerful. My skin is always supple, less oily, my pores become tinier, brighter skin tone and definitely lesser pop-outs! Yes to repurchase but at the moment, I have something else on my mind. Till then XOXO

Review: Teatree + Witchhazel Anti-blemish Deep Cleansing Facial Foam

New year, new cleanser! **Hint hint: After all these years, I can't believe that Teatree + Witchhazel Anti-blemish Deep Cleansing Facial Foam has gone against all odds & emerged as my current best cleanser!! (Wayyyy effective than the Clinelle I previously used, considering my current blemished skin). Not to shock you, but it is seriously unavailable in this self-proclaimed cosmopolitan Malaysia.

I dug this gem from: Boots Pharmacy, Lee Garden @ Hat Yai
The $ I forked out to pamper my skin: Approx Rm10.90 (which was 109.50 bahts after 15% PWP discount from original price of 129 bahts)

How it serves my nostrils
This gem is typically fragrance-free, it smells like its medicated, if any. Wonder why British formulated products are fragrance-free? J'adore anyway.
A gem it is
A turquoise. It glows in the dark just like in the picture and it turns into hundreds of thousands of minute bubbles after pumped out from the container. Kind of reminds me of a Johnson & Johnson cleanser I used during my teenage kingdom. A small pump keeps your face shine-free all day long!
The Aftermath
2 weeks after I 1st set hand on it, my skin is miraculously cleared (OK, my face was covered with acne and pimples due to ultra-exposure to frizzling sunlight while working for the Scott). Acne and pimples bid me goodbye when I take good care of my food and sleep and I enjoy staring my brighter skin on the mirror for hours. : ) Sounds paranoid I know.
Further contribution to the recession
O yes I do.. if my face is ever in need of it again and if I am too loaded to go north to Hatyai again.

Review: O'slee Rosehip Complete Eye Cream

Oh-I-ain't-young-anymore-conscious, unavoidable addiction as a to Mark Zuckerberg's creation (Or not his?) and the shrinking cum darken of my charming eyes like many aging ladies have prompted me to become one of the preys of the skincare industry. I swear to myself that I can't wait till my fine lines are out. Thus, I have started my eye care regime with O'slee Roseship Eye Cream (RM59.90 for 15ml).

That's not my leg!! >.<

Review: Now that I have been using it for the past 3 months, I must say that the effect isn't obvious. However, it does manage to moisturize the areas surrounding my eyes and thus, NO FINE LINES!!!! At the same time, seeds do not grow and I do not feel oily after using this eye cream. My dark circles are yet to be reduced though I can see my eyes are instantly revitalized after each application (guess it is due to the ingredient of caffeine). But as I said, it is just not obvious! However, I did read from somewhere that this kind of eye cream is exactly what people of my age need.

Just like the sleeping mask, the scent is most favorable though it could be detriment to the skin. Another perk is that stop using the eye cream would not worsen my eyes condition.

Also, the price is affordable though not cheap.

Re-purchase: I guess the skincare industry still has much to offer as I am still a beginner. Of cause I wish to test out other eye creams as well. So, its a "No" for now!

Review: Herbaline Nano Pimples Cream

Cons: Highly priced at RM88 (or RM80) for 20g, Herbaline Pimples Cream does not work magic on me like it has worked for Lili. Based on my approx 2-month experience, pimples would subside in 3-4 days' period after day + night application. Since I am instructed to spread it evenly on my face, and it does not prevent the growth of new pimples. The amount used on each pimple is substantial. Also due to my skin color, I actually looked pretty pale after applying it.

Pros: The scent is decent, J'adore! It is a perfect concealer I would say as scars can be perfectly covered. Not diminished though it is promised that it would lighten scars.

Repurchase? I definitely don't think so ... : )

Review: Oslee Clear Spa Sleeping Mask

Have been using this to save my face from further havoc for approx 3 months by now. As sensitive as my face is, this mask is actually a savior for me, particularly when I ignore healthy eating habits (which means fried n oily food 24/7) or spending too many hours outdoor. My face would be revitalized and whitened after a night sleep using this mask. No additional pimples observed. Pores are minimized and skin is greatly hydrated.

Priced at RM59.90 for 50ml of this concentrated gel is rather reasonable. Comparing to Laneige Water Sleeping pack EX (trial), Oslee Clear Spa provides more significant result on my face I would add. But Beauty Diary Aloe Vera mask effect is defitnitely comparable to this one, as good as this one in fact.

And above all, I particularly adore the rosey scent of this mask ( & almost all of the Oslee products sold in Guardian). As a matter of fact, I thought it is its scent which put me to a good night sleep as roseship is helpful in de-stress!!!

My First Time

O rite o rite, it wasn't my VERY VERY first time. But I do consider it as a nouvelle beginning .. =)

Well, today I experimented a light/ naked make  (or over) for an interview session. For beauty is one of my priorities.=)  Some people considered it a big failure but I thought I was successful. Anyway, I strongly believe that this post is gonna contribute to the make-up industry of Malaysia or even world wide as this would serve as a simple guide for make up beginners (kononnya .... haha!)

For your info once again, I am of super sensitive skin, Estee Lauder products suit me to the max I know but they would have to wait for another year at least before I become their regular customer. I am broke, remember? Anyway, ZA make up products do good jobs on my skin in the meantime.

First step for make up, SKINCARE! Next, today all the products I had were ZA Concealer Perfection, ZA 2-way hyaluronic acid foundation with SPF, and a SilkyGirl Moisture Rich Lipstick(24 Pure).

Look at the heart broken pale pigmented acne face of mine before make up without edit. (haiz)

After applying the concealer on my acne n scars spot and little bit under my dark circles,  I applied the ZA two way foundation. And lastly, lipstick was applied. Get it, why I called this a naked make up?

Thereafter, I am gonna experiment with fiercer make ups next holiday. Lastly, I am not ashamed to tell that I don't wear any make-up right until I am 2* years old now. hahahaah
