Review: Boots Botanics Moisturing Eye Cream

Money Matters: Pricing above RM30 (d exact price has long been forgotten)
Branding: Boots in Lee Garden, Hatyai
Origin Matters: Manufactured in UK
Scent Matters: Like most of the products, it is scentless
Essence Matters: Ginseng

Eye Matters:
As far as I am concerned, I won't consider a repurchase. It's indeed moisturizing. It's rather stimulating as well. Everybody knows it is unavoidable that the eye cream might come into contact with the eyes, one way or another. I found it especially uncomfortable when this cream went into my eyes.

Review: Bio-essence Tri-action Aqua Boost

I am neither a fan of Linda Chung nor the brand user (In fact, I sorta despised it .. ) Anyway, I somehow managed to grab a sample pack of Bio-essence Tri-action Aqua Boost and now, I despise Bio-essence no more =)

Despite the itchiness on both sides of my face solely caused by the mask which woke me up in the wee hours of morning, this sleeping mask has managed to do wonders on my sensitive skin (Os'lee y'd better watch out!). My Saturday morning was greeted by a truly bright skin, fully-hydrated and glowing like no other time and it lasts throughout the day (right until current moment!) Of cause, there's no new zit as an outcome of using this mask.

One shortcoming - the scent. It was very artificial albeit nice.
And the scent didn't help me to go straight into dreamland.

And the sample pack was also way too tiny!! I could have shared it with someone if it comes with bigger portion and who knows, Bio-essence might even gain a new customer due to this!

So, I still sounded a bit prejudice huh?

Review: O'slee Roseship Peeling Gel

Saying is that people with sensitive skin shouldn't use scrubs or peeling gel, in prevention of further irritation of the already-sensitive skin. I, for one, opine that this view is of total absurdity. As a matter of fact, occasional usage improves my skin condition and reduces its sensitivity. Perhaps, my sensitive skin works best with O'slee Roseship Peeling Gel.

The way I took the pic looks familiar huh? O rite, I imitated this course mate S of mine XD
Dead-skin removal price: Rm49.90 @ Guardian

My Love:
Just like all other Os'lee products, I am deeply in love with the faint roseship scent.(J'adore j'adore j'adore!)

My Journey:
Though not seeing eye to eye with the above saying, I'm also taking extra precaution by using the peeling gel once every 2 weeks on T-zone & my nose + once every month on my entire face., prior using a mask. It has never failed to get rid of the blackheads on my nose + a thin layer of dead-skin (or more PROFESSIONALLY - my cuticles >.<). And instantly, my skin turns brighter. And and and there's no new pop-outs on the next day!!! =)

Its gel-like texture coupled with the scent of peace and joy!
My choice:
Since I don't enjoy changing skincare from time to time, I would seriously consider a repurchase when it runs out. [It won't for another few months at least as only minimal quantity is needed to satisfy my needs =)]

A Review on My Hubby Nixoderm

People, I haven't found a new man yet. This is just my favourite primples cream of 7-months . The Nixoderm. :-@

Got to know it from a blog and due its price factor(plus its effectiveness I got to know from forums), I immediately bought it from Guardian Pacific Komtar during my homecoming and have since, fallen madly in love with it. The Nixoderm sounds expensive .. but it isn't .. it costs only RM4.90. =,=

For your information, I have a sensitive face. :-( and that's not the entire story. My forehead and T-zone are of oily and pimples-prone nature. and the sensitive zone is also pimples prone .. at times (oh how i loathe them!!!)
Despite the burning sensation my my pimples when I apply the cream on my face(to which I really enjoy^^), The Nixoderm actually does miracles on my pimples. My pimples usually fades within 2-3 days by applying the cream on the same spots for the periods. Most important of all, the cream does no damage to the ever sensitive areas of my face with thin skin.

The 2 downsides: the indescribable odour and washing it in the morning requires a great effort. but no worries, my Clinelle Deep Cleansing gel is still doing a good job. : )

All in all, a very pratical product recommended by me n my roomie : ) i think because of the sulphate ingredients in it, it is functioning well in killing germs on my pimples instead of triggering them and hence, no effect on my sensitive zone.

As a bonus, it can clear blackhead. to which I have never tried .. haha

SUNPLAY SPF 65

Got this tiny sunblock from UUM Kachi Mall when I went to the Lost World, Tambun last year. 3 weeks ago, again, I accidentally bumped into it in a convenient shop after clubbing in Langkawi. I know I am dark .. but dark person deserves to be protected from scary UVA and UVB too!! =.=

Do ignore the Evidence 1950 Act behind ( hehe... )

This tiny bottle sunblock of 6g of RM5.90(or RM4.90 ??unsure) worth all the price I paid : ) Kecil kecil cili padi!!

I managed to apply 4-5 layers evenly on my face, my back, both hands and legs in Tambun. The Langkawi one was lesser .. may be it had been placed in the shop for quite some time then =.=

The outcome: I din't become darker(as in overall) after the Tambun trip, maintain to be actual .. probably due to SPF 65 lo ... and no comment for the Langkawi one as I only applied during island-hopping on the third day = ) and of coz I din't get cancer .. LOL
The scent: Lovely !! thickly scented ... but never over-scented ..
The sensation: Cooling as it contains alcohol (anything doesn't??) and neither sticky nor oily at all
My SENSITIVE face: no new pop-outs ad far as I can remember ... hence, it is suitable for ultra-sensitive skin
Re-purchase: I will if I need it again ..n ofcoz I will need it again during my Bali Backpacking soon =)

Clinelle Deep Cleansing Gel - An Honest Review

After working as a BA for Hada Labo skincare during Nov & Dec 2010, I have finally grown up to be a lady who adores myself more than anyone else. :-)

This is THE time of the year again, THE time to pamper my skin with a new cleanser. P/S: My delicate skin is of ultra sensitive cum oily on my T zone.

My target:
Y am I attracted to it?
During my Hada Labo era, I have erm... 'SNATCHED' some of the customers from this brand. Some bought Hada Labo, and most of their customers insisted on Clinelle. I was and am still amazed at how easily this product can be sold without the assistance of an BA (most of the time la). It was also sold out in Watsons and Gurdian in Jitra and Gurney Plaza. >,<

What research have I done?
I am very particular be trying new products. First of all, I added Clinelle fan club in Facebook. Posted my query there. And read through the comments. The BA during my Hada Labo era assured me that it is dermatologically tested (heck, I dint even what was this then)
I also googled it. And impressed as I was, I couldn't find a SINGLE negative comment on it. I have made up my mind. (hehe)

How much did it cost?
RM28+(after 15% discount). Bought it from a pharmacy in Gurney Plaza.

Is it imported?
Indeed. De la France.

Packaging:
Simple. I have known that good things usually come in simple packages.

After-use Comments:
I am ........ utterly undisappointed. I got what I saw( quoted from Abdul Ghani Patail).
It smells of Citric (kinda reminds me of a Dermalogica cleansing gel). Very light smell. Soothing and not too strong.
With just a 20 cent squeeze on my palm, it clears away all the dirt from my face.
I bet it is mild as I couldn't see any redness on the sensitive areas of my face. I don't feel tight at all. In fact, I could see and feel that my face is definitely cleaner.
After 1 week test, there is no sudden pop-outs from my face.

All in all, this is indeeeed a must-try for people with sensitive skin. My next mission: to find out if this can function well to clean away make-ups and I am on the verge of looking for an affordable but healthy make-up removers!
