Mamma mia~

Listening to 'Voulez-vous' , one of the many fabulous tracks from 'Mamma Mia the Movie', I am totally impressed by the 1hour+ movie (merci to sis!). Those who haven't caught it shall either drive directly to the nearest cineplexes, or buy a ... DVD (ha ha) or download it from somewhere else.. because this is one hell of WORTH- watching movie .. simply loving it!

Some lame excuses which could easily be rebutted as followed:

Jerk:Oldies - they are so not my thingy ..
Me: O Pleaseeeeee, u would fall in love with ABBA... the oldies are nothing but terrific!

Jerk:Only my mom and dad adore Broadway movies
Me: What, am I aged your mom and dad? ofcause they would, and YOU would be as thrilled as they are, basically

Jerk:'House Bunny' perfectly suited me, I am so so into social and fashion thingy : )
Me: I bet you are! 'Mamma Mia' combines all the latest Bohemian accessories with naked make-ups to gladiator sandals (what Veron calls it) ... they are true-true fashionistas!

Jerk: Too many songs and storyline-deprived is a no-no!!!
Me: With all the great songs, rest assured that it has one of the sweetest script I have ever seen

Jerk: Its expensive!
Me: Go on movie day, borrow your cousin's student card, go before 11am, download it, steal it-there's always a way out...

Well, I really, utterly dont see any reason one refuses to watch it. It even has enchanting scenery of an I-dont-know-what-izzit-called island, hot dudes and exotic lasses, and some good french as bonuses. Once again, love it!

Private & Confidential: Time Management of An Undergraduate

Gone are the days when time was like endless and well-filled with nothing but great memoirs. My life as an undergraduate is totally different from my life as a student. Living alone in a dorm, I am granted the freedom to do whatever I like (kekeke!!).

At the same time, I have to keep myself in g00d shape.Undergraduates like us are expected to prepare scrap books, presentation and other nonsensical assignments most of the time we attend Management Accounting or even Legal Ethics class. But is that all the work I have to complete everyday?? Certainly NOT! And for an active undergraduate like me, there is the endless round of society meetings, intra-uni competition, seminars and the like. Let me tell you, 24 hours is definitely too short a day for me!Besides, tests, exams and quizzes are always looming threateningly around the corner.

Reading novels, swimming and outings with friends could never be scrapped. Family home-coming is another excuse for me to spend my weekends in my hometown – the Pearl of Orient.How does a typical layman like me cope it?Despite all the ups and downs of my campus life, I have never submitted my assignments late, neither did I fail my papers, nor have I played truant in order to study for test. The only secret ingredient is PLANNING.Once I am distributed a task, the submission date will be jotted down in a cute memo board (SEE BELOW) in my room, in sequence. Once it is done, it will be deleted!

I do my chores very quickly (finish washing clothes in 12mins, can you do that?), revise whenever and whatever and wherever I can, spend some precious time with my pals tasting delicious cuisine in Changlun and Jitra Mall, keep myself up-to-date with the latest news (yaya, I know that….), listen tentatively to what lecturers teach in Kuliah and plan EVERYTHING a forehead of me.

Of course, I intend to spend most of my weekends with my beloved family in Penang. Since I could not have brought the university back with me, I could bring home the assignments I wish to accomplish. Technology is so advanced that I could clarify any ambiguity with my fellow group mates by just a few clicks on my email.

Surely, it is tough to be an all-rounder, but I am forced to live through my undergraduate life. I hope to learn as much as possible from this so-called period of storm and stress and emerge as a successful time manager … and not to forget my ultimate dream --- to become a lawyer.

Its the Final Countdown

1 week + gone and 72hours down -- my annual raya vacation has almost come to a grieve halt :-( soon I'll have to to continue my excruciating journey to the northern-most, serene-ever, jungle of the jungle in Malaysia. that's more depressing than failing to recall all cases in a Tort test (ahaha!)

Despite all the gloom, I managed to steal a great deal of pleasure out of it. I've gone shopping, got my hair done, completed some assignments (yuck!), spent precious time with family & friends and last but not least, gathered with my oldies! 3 days down & please dont expect me to mourn for it.

Yesterday was a delight. The day kicked start by me, Lili n mChen went hiking in the Youth Park. Hanging out with them was of great fun but I failed to complete the hike due to my lack-of-stamina disorder. As a result, I waited alone in the middle of lush green mountain before they came back with victorious smile. I was such a loser but I would not compromise my life with a tiny triumph like this! haha

Was supposed to go to Hazlina's open hse but did not manage to go due to time constraint. Je sui desolee~lina !!!

Splendour was that particular evening with 3 of us plus SP joining us in the enchanting Batu Feringgi Beach for dinner at L.A.B. (uncertain whether its a bar, or lounge.. anyway, CONGRATS for L.A.B's 1st anniversaire) The sand was soft and the breeze was strong. Summer was all the season I could feel of then. Never did I realize that Penang would have such a romantic fine little place for us to cherish.
